New Students
Congratulations on your admission to a Distance Education (DE) program at UNC Charlotte! This guide is your student guide and has been developed to help prepare you for success as a distance education student. You are not required to come to campus for SOAR (undergraduates) or for the Graduate Student Orientation.
Current Students
Refer back to this guide as you proceed through your DE program. The office of Distance Education is your first line of contact to access the University and we encourage you to contact us at any time during your program. While we have planned for you and can anticipate your needs, it is your responsibility to let us know if you have a specific concern or a question that we have not answered. During each spring semester, we will ask to hear from you as we conduct our annual distance education program evaluations. These survey results contribute to our efforts to continually improve our programs.
